Mr. Murle Henderson Darnell, age 91, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Grace Olena Holley Darnell.
Mr. Darnell was born November 5, 1926 in Greenbrier County, WV, the son of the late Baston Henderson Darnell and Lillian Mammie Wade Darnell. A lifelong resident of White Sulphur Springs, he served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during World War II. During his working career, Murle was employed by several companies including Burlington Mills, Hercules and Hanover Shoe Outlet. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs, WV
Mr. Darnell is survived by his children, Larry Henderson Darnell, David Lee Darnell and wife Robin, Teresa Lynn Ambler and Mary Ann Williams and husband Bret; and six grandchildren, Jeremy Ambler, Brock Darnell, Evan Darnell, Grace Darnell, Katy Darnell and Brianna Williams.
Mr. Darnell is preceded in death by an infant sister.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Grace Baptist Church, 223 W. Main St. White Sulphur Springs, WV, with Pastor Kenny Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home.
