Mrs. Vada Garner Myers of the Brian Center Fincastle, VA and formerly of 202 Madison Street, Covington, VA died Monday, January 2, 2012.

                She was born January 31, 1916 in Greenbrier County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Emory A. Garner and Lula Wade Garner.

                She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Burke Myers, Jr.; a brother, Frank Garner; four sisters, Margaret G. Livesay, Alice G. Dunn, Lucille G. Vaughan and Mary G. Bostic.

                She is survived by one niece, Patricia D. Fuller and husband, Tom of Bedford, VA; five nephews, Frankie Lee Garner and wife, Sue of Lewisburg, WV, William Garner and wife, Tobie of Fairlea, WV, Robert Bostic and wife, Joanne of Charleston, WV, Wayne Bostic and wife, Beverly of Florida and special nephew, Charles Livesay and wife, Jane of Roanoke, VA; special friends, Mike Brown, Carol Vance, and Bert and Betsy Caul; her caregivers at her Brian Center.

                A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 6, 2012, at Alleghany Memorial Park with William Garner officiating.

                There will be no formal visitation.
