Scott Persinger

                Mr. Travis Scott Persinger, age 27, of 130 North Monroe Avenue, died Saturday, November 13, 2010.

                Scott was born January 25, 1983 in Low Moor, VA, the son of David “Butch” Persinger and Debbie Persinger.  He served his country as a member of the United States Army.  Scott had worked in the construction field, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist faith.

                In addition to his parents, David “Butch” Persinger and Debbie Persinger, Scott is survived by his fiancée, Kari Anderson of Covington; his two children, Eli Wilson Persinger and Isabella Dawn Willard; two brothers, Daniel Persinger of Clifton Forge and David Wayne Persinger of Covington; four sisters, Tracy Cutlip Hagy of Wyco, WV, Tammy Cutlip of Rainelle, WV, Teri Persinger of Stephenson, WV and Kimberly Williams of Covington; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

                A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 18, 2010, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Dillon officiating.  Interment will follow in Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery.

                Pallbearers will be Joe Tucker, Dustin Withrow, Mike Wykle, Jamie Nelson, Larry Jones, and Josh Nelson.  Alternate pallbearers will be Dusty Tucker, Chris Via and Frankie Ruano.

                The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home.
