Ricky Tucker

              Mr. Ricky Payne Tucker, age 60, of 2011 Rich Patch Road, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.  He was the husband of Ellen Campbell Tucker.

                Mr. Tucker was born January 4, 1950 in Alleghany County, the son of the late Elmer Fraizer Tucker and Irene Smith Tucker.  A lifetime resident of this community, he was employed as a logger.  Mr. Tucker was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting especially bear hunting but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

                In addition to his wife of 39 years, Ellen Campbell Tucker, Mr. Tucker is survived by two sons, Eric Wayne Tucker and wife, Erma Lee and Scot Fraizer Tucker, all of Covington; seven grandchildren, Tara Craft and husband, Roy, Kelly Tucker, Danielle Tucker, Kaley Stone, Belle Tucker, Dakota Tucker, Jakob Tucker; two sisters, Linda Helmintoller of Covington and Carol Brookman and husband, Richard of Craig County; and a number of nieces and nephews.

                In addition to his parents, Elmer Fraizer Tucker and Irene Smith Tucker, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by one brother, Audrey Lane Tucker, and two grandchildren.

                A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June, 16, 2010, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Smith officiating.

                The family will receive friends following the service at Loving Funeral Home.
