  Nora Worley

              Mrs. Agnes Iris Nora Moran Worley, age 71, of 545 Brentwood Drive, died Monday, June 14, 2010, at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem.  She was the wife of Calvin Ray Worley, Sr.

                Mrs. Worley was born January 9, 1939 in Nottingham, England, the daughter of the late Arthur Moran and Beatrice Gallagher Moran.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Mrs. Worley was a former employee of K-Mart and Wal-Mart.  She loved to work with crafts and enjoyed sewing.

                In addition to her husband, Calvin Ray Worley, Sr., Mrs. Worley is survived by two sons, Calvin Ray Worley, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Covington, Glenn Heath Worley and wife, Amy of Clifton Forge; a daughter, JoAnne Worley Carpenter and husband, Jeffrey of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, Ariel Carpenter, Ian Carpenter, Brittany Mays, Nicholas Worley, Bret Worley, Kevin Worley; one sister, Margaret Moran Williamson of Nottingham, England; and a number of nieces and nephews.

                In addition to her parents, Arthur Moran and Beatrice Gallagher Moran, Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Moran, Jack Moran and two sisters, Mary Moran Etches and Flo Moran Drabble.

                A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 18, 2010, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Price officiating, assisted by the Rev. Doug Hollenbeck.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

                Pallbearers will be Darfow Rice, Carl Nichols, David Crizer, Berkley Mays, Bobby Broughman and Terry Humphreys.  Alternate pallbearers will be Roy Redman and Ian Carpenter.

                The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M at Loving Funeral Home.
