   Michael Linkenhoker

                Mr. Michael Eugene Linkenhoker, age 43, of 5013 Jackson River Road, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at his residence.
                Mr. Linkenhoker was born August 30, 1966 in Alleghany County, the son of Thomas E. Linkenhoker, Jr. and Barbara Warlitner Linkenhoker.  He served his country as a member of the United States Navy.  Michael was employed as a retail parts pro with Advance Auto.  He enjoyed detailing cars and collected Mustang model cars.
                In addition to his parents, Thomas E. Linkenhoker, Jr. and Barbara Warlitner Linkenhoker, Mr. Linkenhoker is survived by a brother, Thomas E. “Tommy” Linkenhoker of Covington; three sisters, Jennifer L. Lockhart and husband, Lance of Covington, Denise L. Tingler and husband, Chucky of Covington, Valerie L. Williams and husband, Wayne of Tennessee; a nephew, Joshua Linkenhoker and wife, Jody of Des Moines, Iowa; and a number of nieces and nephews.
                A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 19, 2009, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Merrell officiating.  Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.
                Pallbearers will be Josh Linkenhoker, Jake Lockhart, Charlie Linkenhoker, Lance Lockhart, Tommy Linkenhoker, Troy Warlitner, Josh Burns, and David Black.
                The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home.
                In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Mountain Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 687, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
