Mr. James Virgil Allard, age 57, of 347 Lauren Kay Lane, died Friday, September 2, 2011, at his residence.

                Mr. Allard was born December 11, 1953 in Norfolk, the son of the late Garland Whitley Allard and Lizzie Morris Allard.

                Mr. Allard is survived by three brothers, Gene Allard of Covington, Wayne Allard of Floyd County, and Jerry Allard of Covington; three sisters, Shirley Beach of Broadway, Rose Enyart of Moneta, Doris Armentrout of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

                In addition to his parents, Garland Whitley Allard and Lizzie Morris Allard, Mr. Allard was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Morris and Garland Montgomery and one sister, Rose Marie Allard.

                A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Central Advent Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Atkins officiating.
