Fran Moore

               Mrs. Frances Irene “Fran” Todd Moore, age 82, formerly of Hugh Street, Covington, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Bedford County Nursing Home.  She was the wife of the late Howard Emerson Moore.

                Mrs. Moore was born April 25, 1927 in Bellaire, OH, the daughter of the late Clarence E. Todd and Luella Newhart Todd.   She was a member of Edgemont Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church.   Before moving to Bedford, Mrs. Moore had been a resident of this community since 1958 and was a clerk with the former JC Penney in Covington for a number of years.  Most of all, she enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family especially going on beach vacations with them.  

                Mrs. Moore is survived by two daughters, Susan Trumbo and husband, Malfourd of Fincastle, Karen Anderson and husband, Mike of Salem; a son, Todd Howard Moore and wife, Shana of Palmyra; four grandchildren, Benjamin Trumbo and wife, Heidi Pennington of St. Louis, Mo, Tyler Trumbo of Williamsburg, Laura Trumbo of Harrisonburg, and Karen Alexa Moore of Palmyra; a sister-in-law, Rose Todd of West Milton, OH; and a number of nieces and nephews.

                In addition to her parents, Clarence E. Todd and Luella Newhart Todd, and her husband, Howard Emerson Moore, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence G. Todd.

                A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2010, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

                Pallbearers will be Marion Trumbo, Malfourd Trumbo, Tyler Trumbo, Todd Moore, Richard King and Kent Moore.

                The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until service time Sunday afternoon at Loving Funeral Home
