Mr. Donald Lee Mayo, age 73, of 101 Maple Lane, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at his residence.  He was the husband of Joyce Caracoff Mayo.

            Mr. Mayo was born August 21, 1937 in Covington, the son of the late Dewey Bailey Mayo and Thelma Bryant Mayo Lambert.

            A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 27, 2011, at Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. William M. Hartsfield officiating.  Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.

            The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home.

            The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Temple Baptist Church, 300 Stratton Street, Covington, Va. 24426.
