Bernard Napier               

            Mr. Bernard Lee Napier of Lewisburg, WV went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2011 after a long battle with cancer.  He was the son of the late Bernard T. and Edna C. Napier of Callaghan, VA.

            He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Alice Bordeaux of Lewisburg and four sons, Dale Napier and wife, Martha of Beaverdam, VA, Kenny Napier and wife, Ronda of Amelia, VA, Jeffrey Napier and wife, Darlene of Salem, VA and Chris Napier of Lewisburg, WV.  There are also three grandchildren, Victoria Napier of Salem, VA, Phillip Napier and Taylor Kay Napier of Beaverdam, VA and one great grandchild, Marleigh Drewery of Salem, VA.

            Survivors also include four sisters, Lois Hazen of Waynesboro, VA, Linda Kwarziany and husband, Al of Wilmington, NC, Patricia Hooker and husband, Jerry and Nancy Gray, both of Covington and two brothers, James Napier and wife, Brenda of Covington and Ray Napier and wife, Sherry of Goodview, VA.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a good friend, D.C. Vest of Callaghan, VA.

            Other than his parents, Bernard and Edna Napier, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley N. Bise in 2009 and three very dear friends, Sam Moore in 2003, Richard Thomas in 2008 and brother-in-law, John Johnston, who passed away the same day as Bernard on May 1, 2011.

           A memorial service will be held at a later date.
