Mrs. Barbara Gough Terry, age 76, of 1914 S. Clark Avenue, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.  She was the wife of the late Robert Ryland “Bob” Terry.

                Mrs. Terry was born August 4, 1933 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Robert Anthony Gough and Maggie Merle Hicks Gough.  She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

                Mrs. Terry is survived by a son, James Andy Terry of Covington; a daughter, Cynthia Terry of Covington; five grandsons, Robert Hendrick, Thomas Hendrick, William Hendrick, Robert Ryan Terry and Brooke Marie Terry.

                In addition to her parents, Robert Anthony Gough and Maggie Merle Hicks Gough and her husband, Robert Ryland “Bob” Terry, Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Terry.

                A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with Father LaBaron Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

                The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
