Mrs. Annie Laura Ailstock Lowry, age 94, formerly of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Heartland Nursing Home, Beckley, WV.  She was the wife of William Joseph Lowry who preceded her in death in 1963.

                Mrs. Lowry was born February 22, 1915 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Payton Reynolds Ailstock and Mary Elizabeth Armentrout Ailstock. 

                A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Ashwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Wright officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

                The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Ashwood Methodist Church.
